Dallas Association of Legal Professionals ("Dallas ALP")

 
Dallas ALP is a non-partisan, non-union, non-sectarian, non-profit, and educational organization chartered in November 1952 by NALS, Inc. ("NALS") and is affiliated with the Texas Association of Legal Professionals ("TALP").

Dallas ALP holds monthly meetings where the business of all three associations is discussed and continuing legal education is offered.  Membership is open to any person employed in the legal field including:

•  Legal Secretaries
•  Legal Assistants
•  Paralegals
•  Law Office Administrators
•  Court Personnel
•  Court Reporters
•  Court Clerks
•  Corporate legal staff

Dallas ALP offers opportunities for certification, education, networking, and professional development.  Associate membership is available to students, educators, attorneys, and judges.  Corporate memberships are also available.
Members of Dallas ALP adhere to the NALS Code of Ethics


Members are bound by the objectives of this association and the standards of conduct required of the legal profession.

Every member shall:
Encourage respect for the law and the administration of justice;
Observe rules governing privileged communications and confidental information;

Promote and exemplify high standards of loyalty, cooperation, and courtesy;

Perform all duties of the profession with integrity and competence; and

Pursue a high order of professional attainment.

Integrity and high standards of condct are fundamental to the success of our professional association.  This Code is promulgated by NALS and accepted by its members to accomplish these ends.
